I offer four (4) unique services for high-school aged students in the Frisco and Prosper Texas areas. These four services are:
Course Prep: For science-based courses (including AP Bio, AP Chemistry, and all Pre-AP and On-Level sciences)
I did well in Physics in college (even calculus-based!) but I do not tutor this course due to only having 18 credit hours dedicated to the field of physics. #it’sstillamazingthough!
College Prep: For applications, essay help, college information, data-driven science on where-to-apply, and other questions regarding college!
ACT Prep: College entrance exams are tough! Fortunately, they can be made a bit easier with a good study plan. This program helps those who are interested in taking the ACT and involves a breakdown of the exam and weakness-driven preparation to boost your score ceiling.
Pre-Health Advising: For underclassmen in college (and the occasionally highly-motivated high-school senior), this service can help narrow your focus in a healthcare profession career, steps to take, and also how to get where you want to go.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through my contact form (found in the top menu of the website) and I’ll reach out to you about more information, how I do things, and we’ll find a time to sit down for a consultation. Of course, as a parent, you are more than welcome to sit-in on this consult and any/all tutoring sessions if it makes you comfortable.

Pricing is flexible and is based off of a couple of factors:
The experience needed to discuss and tutor that certain subject. For example, AP-course tutoring requires a different skillset than non-AP-course tutoring, and so forth.
The materials needed to ensure your child succeeds. This can include college textbooks/practice manuals (Which I’ll bring!).
Duration of session: This will usually be an hour, especially due to how busy y’all get during the weekdays, but can be extended to 90 minutes+ if needed (especially as test dates approach!)
Expansion: As my business grows, pricing may increase or decrease to reflect changes in demand and the ability of one person to stretch themself over a wide area.
*For a more concrete figure, many tutors with similar qualifications run $135-160+/hr. I do not believe success hides behind a paywall, and as someone who worked 4 jobs at the same time in college and understands finances, I will never ask to pay in this range. That is both a promise to my individual students as well as my community in North Texas as a whole.
Sessions run between $70–85/hour, depending on the subject and how specialized it is — AP content, ACT strategy, and pre-health advising sit toward the higher end, general and Pre-AP review toward the lower end. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, with longer sessions available as test dates get closer. You'll get your exact rate during your free 15-minute consultation, so there's never a surprise before your first session.

Most tutoring companies are exactly that: companies.
You get whoever's available that day, following a script, with little continuity between sessions or subjects. They never learn about the student, and they often care about the paycheck.
I'm one person, not a huge center. The biosciences is a subject I hold a college degree in, not one I crammed a training manual for. The ACT is a test I scored a nearly-perfect score on a few years ago, not a decade ago. And when I advise on admissions or pre-health planning, I'm living my own version of that process right now, applying to medical school. I’ve struggled, I’ve failed, and I want to help others in my community succeed so they can make their dreams come true, just like mine.
I am not perfect (nor will I pretend to be) but I am a real human being who will give your student an opportunity to unlock more of what they can show the world!

You can reach me anytime (maybe not 4am, but any reasonable time 8a-6p!) via the ‘Contact’ tab at the top of the screen. I will do my best to reply within the same business day!
Saturday/Sunday hours are limited (10a-2p), but if it is emergent, I’ll be sure to reach out!

I LOVE teaching.
I was a TA for 5 different professors in my tenure at UT Austin, and I’ve done everything under the sun when it comes to tutoring and mentoring. I am a very playful and fun guy who loves to integrate learning with humor to make it stick. I’ve found that people learn best when you find ways to apply it to them, so my vision is to make teaching specialized toward the person I work with!
On the side, I love mountaineering, working on cars, and baking. I also love interior design!
