Kair Prep Co. Policies
Straightforward stuff, so there are no surprises for either of us!
Scheduling & Cancellations
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule through the email found at the bottom of every page on this website. That's enough time for me to fill the spot or rework my week. Cancellations with less notice, or no-shows, will be asked to pay the full session rate. If something genuinely urgent comes up, tell me — this is aimed at last-minute no-shows, not real emergencies, which we all have.Running Late
If a student's running late, the session still ends at its originally scheduled time (both online and in-person appointments). I'll make the most of whatever time we have, but I can't run into the next student's slot. If I am running late (which I won’t, but fair is fair!) I’ll subtract payment from that session proportional to the time I was late.Payment
Payment is due at the end of the session unless we've agreed on something else in advance. I accept cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Exact pricing depends on the subject and session length, and is confirmed during your free consultation.Refunds
Sessions that have already happened are non-refundable — you're paying for my time and prep, and both are spent whether or not everything clicks in one sitting (it usually takes more than one!). If I ever have to cancel on you, or don't deliver what we agreed on/a good product, I'll make it right with a make-up session or a refund for that session.Weather
Texas weather does what it wants. If an in-person session isn't safe, we'll move it to a virtual session or reschedule — totally your call.Contact
I’m a very open and chill person! After a session or two, I have no qualms with sharing phone numbers with parents/guardians to make communication easier than reaching out on this website. All I ask is that communication lines are respectful and professional.
Locations
I am comfortable tutoring online using sites such as Zoom and WebX. If you prefer/learn in-person more, I can travel to the Frisco Public Library, Prosper Community Library, or even your home! If you are unable to make the commute to the libraries, I will gladly set up shop in an open room in-house so that you/your student doesn’t need to leave the comfort of your home, which is especially good after long school days.
Clientele
All students are welcome! My services lean heavily toward high-school-age students, but middle-schoolers looking to get ahead of the curve are more than welcome to be a part of this service!
